A Snapshot of Kauai
Join me and some great friends on the garden island to explore markets, food trucks, restaurants and at-home deliciousness. We’ll start out at Al Pastor Tacos, an excellent food truck, then move on to Fish.Market.Deli for dinner. This place is home to the Ahi Au Poivre sandwich that I waffle on about quite a bit on this episode. Passion Bakery makes the outstanding bun for it.
Other days take us to Tiki Tacos and to JO2, both in the same strip mall. Further north we stop at Kilauea Fish Market and Trilogy Coffee for delightful mid-day refreshments. And for a fancy-pants dinner, we go to the beautiful Hualani’s at Timbers Kauai. You’ll also hear about our delicious make-at-home tom kha soup, thanks to Nourish Kauai.
