A Snapshot of Bologna

We spent four days in Bologna and found delicious food at every turn. Tagliatelle with ragu Bolognese at Osteria dell’Orsa. Café lungo and tiramisu at a place whose name escapes me but was a welcome respite from the busy streetscape. Pizza and yet more coffee at Forno Brisa. Fantastic seafood in a gorgeous room at The Man and the Sea.

But today’s snapshot is of one restaurant, one that recalled to me the adventure and the joy of travel. It also recalled to me the importance of traveling when you are young, so that you can re-live it when you are not so young. Join me for a few thoughts on travel and a few more thoughts on the spectacular meal we had at Osteria del Mirasole.
