Snapshot: Barcelona (Wait for the Bells)

The food was so good that it caused the waiter to use explicit language and me to repeat it on today’s episode.

Here’s a quick Snapshot from the road with some thoughts on Barcelona. What a delightful city. For this episode I chose four spots: two are focused on food and two on drink. We start at a restaurant in the Hotel Neri, where you’ll meet the amazing Eduardo (@eduardothemarquis) who exudes hospitality and makes incredible cocktails. I often say on the podcast that food is a mechanism to connect us with other people, and Eduardo showed us yet again the key to great hospitality: human connection (well, that and amazing drinks!). Next up is El Chigre 1769, where we enjoyed beautiful tapas for our final lunch in the city. From El Chigre we go to Dr. Stravinsky, a cocktail bar so cool and so cozy that we made a second trip in our short visit to the city. And rounding out today’s show is the frenetic, the wonderful, the delicious… Bar Cañete. The food was so good that it caused the waiter to use explicit language and me to repeat it on today’s episode. What can I say but: go! Thanks for joining me for this Snapshot… let’s get to Barcelona.
